Abstract:ZHAO Zhen-ji's Privileged Life in Mountains expresses his worries about the dangerous political life, disappointment and regret to his life in official circle. Meanwhile, it objectively reveals the universal life experience of feudal officials and literati. When they were young, they enthusiastically tried to become officials. When they got to their middle ages, they lingered and struggled in the ups and downs. When their late years came, all their glory faded and they began to be regret for their choice in early years. Lots of similar poems were composed and they inherited the essence of getting tired of official life. But the theme and content were further developed and extended.
