    Some Examples of Meaning Seeking from Words’ Pronunciation in Research of Them

    • 摘要:因声求义法是一种重要的训诂方法,破假借、求本字在疑难语词考释中的作用尤为突出。本文利用因声求义的方法考释了出现于道经文献中的八个疑难语词的意义,以期为道经的研读提供参考。

      Abstract:It is an important exegetic means to seek the meaning of a word according to its pronunciation. The practice that we use the real word instead of a borrowed one is quite striking in research of some difficult words. This paper has studied the meanings of eight words in some Taoist classic works with the meaning-seeking method in an attempt to serve as reference for the study of them.
