Abstract:Whether to draw up an International Marine Insurance demonstration or an international convention has become a hot issue. There exist some pendent issues in the legislation of marine insurance in China. Therefore, it is necessary to perfect the laws concerning such insurance. The measures may include the making of Property Insurance Law, the addition of the four principles of marine insurance to the insurance part of the above law, the perfection of the subjective system of Marine Insurance Law, and the improvement of the system of the subrogation right and the system of the compulsory marine insurance.
