On MU Ji-bo's Educational Thought and Its Practical Significance

  • 摘要:穆济波是近代中国著名的语文教育家、知名学者。他在教育实践中,提出了“语文的本身绝不是教育的目的所在”、 “民族生存是教育的中心”、 “民族主义就是国族主义”的教育、“教学不愁无方法,只愁无教学之诚意”等重要观点,并身体力行,进行教学方法的创新与教育思想的实践。穆济波的教育思想与实践,对当今教育问题的认识、解决具有很强的借鉴意义。

    Abstract:MU Ji-bo was a famous Chinese educator and scholar. In his educational practice, he put forward some important views, such as Chinese itself not as the educational purpose, national existence as the educational core, nationalism as the national education, and unnecessary worry about educational methods but only about the good faith in education. In addition, he immersed himself in practice and the innovation of educational methods. His educational thoughts and practice are of great significance for reference to understand the present educational issues and to solve them.
