Abstract:The language of the work Amazing Tales—First Series is vivid, its rhetorical device couplets are employed skillfully. Such rhetorical device includes five artistic features: good proportion with elegant form, harmonious rhyme, symmetry with grandeur, diversity of forms implied with morals and combination between refined and popular languages.
