Abstract:In the face of a strategic opportunity for the industrial development of Fuyang, a SWOT analysis of Fuyang's undertaking the industrial transfer is made and it is found that Fuyang is faced with four aspects of problems: advantages and disadvantages(the internal conditions); opportunities and challenges(external environments). The study shows that the advantages are the geographical location in the Pan-Yangtze River Delta area and the policy support of the state; the disadvantages are that the industrial structure, technology and the quality of the labor force are in need of improvement; the opportunity is the actuality of the industrial transfer between the different regions; the challenge is the homogeneous competition and the bottle neck of the industrial transfer. Accordingly the implementation paths for undertaking the industrial transfer are proposed: the restructuring and upgrading of the traditional industries to build and foster new industry; to build industrial cluster by full use of the fundamental roles of the different industry parks; the strategy of “North-South Echo, the Axis Development”.
