Abstract:When it found its rudiment in legends of Tang Dynasty, the underlying narration became increasingly mature with time. To Ming and Qing Dynasties, novels with chapters appeared in a large amount. And with the increase of texts amount, the underlying narration grew and expanded in its frequentness and scope of use. And it was used vastly and subtly in A Dream of Red Mansions, and reached its peak in traditional Chinese novels.
