Abstract:A Collection of Ancient Fictions compiled by LU Xun has kept a lot of folk taboos which are mainly reflected in appellations, food, calendar, ghosts and monsters, Buddhism, and interpersonal communication. Such taboos are largely used to restrain people's words and deeds and avoid the relevant punishment. Further, they have kept the rich folk memories. And they also enrich the subjects of ancient fictions.
