Abstract:Global integration has intrigued increasingly constant cultural exchange and communication between different regions. In such a context, the Emei martial arts culture has met with the following cultural conflicts: the multi-cultural con- flict, Emei wushu cultural contradictions, challenge of Emei wushu cultural identity; it is believed that the basis for cultural i- dentity of Emei wushu is practice and perception; the exercise of it is prerequisite for the practice and perception of the art; the experience and understanding is the corner stone for the recognition of the art and mutual value constitutes platform for mutual
cultural identity; it is pointed out that the approach for cultural identity is multiplication of entity; the seeking of cultural adap- tion in multi-culturalism,the pursuit of cultural straits in cultural integration; the conflicting harmony is the cultural selection. All this is done in the hope of providing some constructive suggestions for the expansion and inheritance of Emei martial arts culture.
