Abstract:"Through the literature review and planting experiments, it is found that the Chinese species of wild Fagopyrum Mill is rich in germplasm resources and with wide distribution. It is characteristic of strong resistance, wide adapt- ability, strong ornamental feature while in large quantities, with splendid landscape effect. This plant is fit for extensive man- agement, easy to breed and cultivate, and boasts a fast landscape building effect, low cost, good environmental benefit, strong ecological effect and relatively great value for development. Therefore, it can find wide application in landscaping, potted- plants, cut-flower, specific gardens and tourism landscape construction."
