《说文》从“去”谐声字———兼谈形声字“灋”
On Characters with Similar Sound“去”(qu) — A Concurrent Study of the Pictophonetic Character“灋”(fa) in AnAnalytical Dictionary of Characters

摘要:《说文》从“去”谐声字兼有鱼叶两部,从音理上难以解释。 裘锡圭、冯蒸从音形结合的角度出发,论证谐声偏旁“去”实际上是有两个不同的来源,即有两个形似但音义不同的“去”。 来去之“去”的本义是“离开”,“盍”之初文“去”本义是盖子。 清华简(五)出现“灋”的新见字形,从盍声,证明其为形声字,属叶部。Abstract:The characters with similar sound“去”(qu) have two sections“鱼”(yu)and“叶”(ye). This is difficult to explain in phonetics. From the perspective of combination between form and sound, QIU Xigui and FENG Zheng have demon- strated that the echoic radical part has in fact two origins, i. e. the two“去” with similar forms but different pronunciation and meanings. “去” in“来去” just means“leave”. And the meaning of“去” in“盍” is“cover”. The new character“灋” in Tsing- hua bamboo slips(the fifth) is in line with the sound of“盍”, which shows this character is a pictophonetic character and be- longs to the group with the radical part“叶”.
