Abstract:Emei Wushu is a shining pearl in Chinese Wushu culture. The favorable conditions for its development lie in the state’s policy support and the cultural value in itself; while the constraints are chiefly seen in the following aspects: the in- complete system of its own relevant theories, the lack of innovative awareness, the controversy about the Emei Wushu Styles, the misconceptions in publicity campaign. Accordingly, counter measures are suggested: to establish a complete system of the Emei Wushu theories; to achieve innovations in development; to realize concerted development on basis of harmony; to step up the publicity campaign so as to offer some referential value for the advance of Emei Wushu culture.
