    How Far Away are We from Quality Education

    • 摘要: 试图以数学教学为例,揭示素质教育与应试教育之间的关系. 可以把数学教学的着眼点分为三个层次:知识的记忆和模仿,数学的理解和思考,人的发展与完善. 素质教育以追求“高层次”为导向,应试教育则向“低层次”媚俗. “三个层次”度量我们与素质教育的距离,教育情怀与教育智慧是我们走向素质教育的关键因素.

       

      Abstract: Mathematics teaching is taken as an example in an effort to reveal the relationship between quality education and exam-oriented education. It is found that the focus of mathematics teaching can be divided into three levels: the memoriza- tion and imitation of knowledge, understanding and contemplation of mathematics, development and perfection of humans. Quality-oriented education aims at“high calibre”, while examination-oriented education aims at the“low-end” kitsch. The three levels tell us the distance from quality education, and the educational passion and educational wisdom are the decisive fac- tors for the success of quality education.
