Characteristics of Spatial Structure Evolution and Mechanism of Urban Agglomeration in Sichuan Province

  • 摘要:基于四川省2000—2015年相关统计数据,运用统计分析与 GIS分析方法,从人口空间结构、城市规模分布、交通网络结构、经济空间结构四个方面分析四川省城市群空间结构演变特征.结果表明:以交通网络为基础的城市群网络结构基本形成,城市群等级规模结构较完善,但城市首位度过大,中小城市发育较好,大城市发展相对较慢;城市群发展经历了较长时间的空间极化过程,逐渐向分散、均衡发展过渡;城市群空间结构及其演变过程主要受自然条件、人口因素、交通网络、经济发展基础和政策规划因素影响.

    Abstract:Based on the relevant statistics of2000-2015, and by use of the methods of statistic and GIS analysis, an ex- ploration was made into the spatial structural evolution characteristics of the urban agglomerations in Sichuan from the four as- pects of the population spatial structure, the city size distribution, the traffic network structure and the economic spatial struc- ture. The results show: the urban agglomeration network, which is based on the traffic network, has taken a basic shape; the scale structure of the urban agglomerations is rather complete while the primacy ratio of the cities is too huge; the development of small and medium-sized cities is rather satisfying and the development of big cities is relatively slow. The development of ur- ban agglomerations has undergone a long period of spatial polarization process, and gradually transformed into dispersed and balanced one. The spatial structure and its evolution of urban agglomeration are mainly affected by natural conditions, demo- graphic factors, transportation network, economic foundation and policy planning and so on.
