The Unofficial History of ZHANG Daqian’s Staying at Xipu

摘要:抗战初期张大千自北平沦陷区逃回四川定居达11年之久。其中,在郫县犀浦居住时间较长,而这一段时间正是张大千艺术进程中十分重要的阶段。通过揭示此前若干张大千论著中鲜有论述的历史,不仅有助于张大千的后续研究,也给保护四川的世界名人旧居提出警醒。

Abstract:At the beginning of the Anti-Japanese War when Beiping fell into the Japanese hand, ZHANG Daqian re-
turned back to Sichuan and lived there for11 years, during which he stayed at Xipu, Pixian County, for a long time. And this was an important period in his artistic career. The revelation of the history concerning ZHANG which has rarely been men- tioned in relevant literature is not only of great help for the following studies of ZHANG, but reminding of people protecting the former homes of some well-known people in Sichuan.
