Abstract:To respond Mr.Li Guizhi’s public comparison between his 1, 825 successful candidates in the highest imperial examinations in Jin Dynasty and Xue Ruizhao’s statistics of 1, 527 candidates in Imperial Examinations in Jin Dynasty, this paper has revealed the current systematic problems from four aspects:record without basis, repeated record, record of those successful in other dynasties instead of Jin Dynasty, and various mistakes in record.It has pointed out that his record and textual research lacks the academic basis and achievement concerning the imperial examinations and the study of relevant literature.Therefore, his study is suspected of plagiarism and forging.
