Abstract:Infidelity is a sensitive topic in the love stories.The works like Ling Shuhua’s After Drinking, Ye Lingfeng’s Nvwa’s Legacy, Shi Zhecun’s Sunset in Plum Rain and Mei Niang’s Fish have expressed the complication of human desire in respect of infidelity, either spiritual or practical.These works are closely related with the backgrounds of particular times and correspond to the writers’ life and reality miraculously.
