江南地区夏季极端降水同步事件的关联特征分析

Association analysis of synchronous events of summer extreme precipitation in area south of Yangtze River

  • 摘要:利用1970—2019年江南地区气象站点逐日降水数据、NCEP/NCAR再分析资料,采用事件同步法、Louvain算法、SOM-k聚类等方法,分析了江南地区夏季极端降水同步事件的空间特征及其与环流的关联.结果表明:(1)江南地区极端降水同步事件在中部区域关联范围较大,在事件传播中起主要作用,为从印度洋等地来的水汽传输提供了通道,边缘区域聚集性强,沿海区域的事件一般超前于内陆发生;(2)空间一致性高的站点除沿海型外,呈现纬向排列分布,可再分为南部型、中部型和北部型;(3)将区域性极端降水形成时的低层位势高度场划分为6类,可见近似存在偶极子结构,500 hPa位势高度在东亚大陆中高纬存在大振幅槽脊,江南地区一带低槽活动较为频繁,西太平洋副热带高压较平均值偏西偏南,使得东亚夏季风减弱,气流辐合稳定在研究区内,形成区域性极端降水.

    Abstract:Based on the daily precipitation data of meteorological stations and NCEP/NCAR reanalysis data from 1970 to 2019, the spatial characteristics of synchronous extreme precipitation events in summer and their correlation with atmosheric circulation were analyzed by aid of the event synchronization method, Louvain algorithm and SOM-K clustering method. The results show that :(1) the synchronous extreme precipitation events in Region Jiangnan have a large correlation range in the central region, and play a major role in the event propagation, that is, providing a channel for water vapor transport from the Indian Ocean and the south China sea. (2) Except for the coastal type, the sites with high spatial consistency showed zonal arrangement and distribution, which could be subdivided into southern type, central type and northern type. (3) the regional extreme precipitation formation of the low-level geopotential height field is divided into six categories, which shows a possible existence of visible approximate of dipole substructure; in terms of 500 hPa geopotential height in the east Asian continent at the middle and high latitude exists a large amplitude groove ridge; in area south of the Yangtze River more frequent low trough activities are observed; the western Pacific subtropical high is on average tilting towards west and south, making the east Asian summer monsoon a lot weaker; the convergence of airflow stays stably in the study area, forming regional extreme precipitation.
