Abstract:As an important instrument in cultural activities for the public, the piano plays an important role. However, piano performance in cultural activities for the public also faces challenges in three aspects:learning, playing, and equipment. Therefore, measures are needed, such as, to improve public awareness, select performance repertoire, and enhance personal accomplishment so as to cater to the characteristics and needs of the public. Strong management and efficient promotion are needed to advance the deep integration of piano performance and cultural activities for the public so that piano performance can play a greater role in promoting social harmony and stability.
