Abstract:To improve labor education in early childhood, it is necessary to return to the essence of children. Embedded in an embodied approach, labor education in early childhood recognizes children as the subject of life. The labor education in early childhood should contain the need for care of life, the dynamic contexts, and the development of a perfect character. However, the less frequent presence of children, the distortion of labor contexts, and the lack of subjectivity in life have obscured the path of the embodied labor education in early childhood. Therefore, to return to an embodied labor education in early childhood, it is essential to re-acknowledge children’s essence. More efforts are needed to awaken their life force, create a conducive environment for their labor, nurture their body, set free their minds, and motivate their embodied actions.
