Abstract:This paper investigated the influence mechanisms of school community sense on professional commitment, using the Sense of School Community Index Scale for College Students, the Academic Self-Efficacy Scale, the Chinese Adolescent Life Satisfaction Scale, and the Professional Commitment Questionnaire to survey among 462 local public-funded normal students.The results show that: (1) Sense of school community, academic self-efficacy, learning satisfaction and professional commitment are positively correlated with each other, and school community sense has a significantly positive impact on professional commitment, but this positive effect became insignificant when mediating variables were added. (2) The school community sense exerts an indirect influence on stuhents’ professional commitment through three paths: the academic self-efficacy, the separate intermediary role of learning satisfaction, and the chain intermediary role of academic self-efficacy and learning satisfaction.
