Abstract:Living in a turbulent period of social changes, LIANG Shu-min had deep understanding of his time. His influence in the intellectual history of modern China lies in his unique cultural philosophy of history as well as his views concerning both oriental and occidental cultures. His theories like dynamism, subject principle, epistemology and historical views fully show his lifelong research into some social problems and his reflections on human future. Such study can inevitably widen our field of research concerning LIANG’s thoughts.
