Abstract:By means of on-the-spot observation as well as video replay, a logic analysis is made of the CBA statistics(published by the official CBA website) of the 2011-12 season to make a comparison between domestic guards and their foreign peers in skills associated with their position. The result shows that, the domestic players, compared with their foreign peers of approximate weight and height, are found to have a rather big gap in the weight/height index as well as in age. Furthermore, they generally played fewer games, had less time on the court, and are lacking in abilities of scoring and drawing fouls.
