Abstract:The real estate major is a subject highly characteristic of practice, whose graduates find their jobs principally in the five fields of engineering technology; design, planning & budgeting; quality monitoring & project supervision; public employees, college teaching & scientific research; and real estate companies. In order to cater for the current needs for graduates equipped with strong practical abilities, by means of teaching reform, efforts must be stepped up to reinforce students in developing their practical abilities and their ability to apply a skill. Extra emphasis should be laid on the recognition of field work, the optimization of curricular design of the real estate major, the reinforcement of real estate production practice, so as to turn out high-quality, inter-disciplinary applied innovative talents in the field of real estate.
