Abstract:In 1939, FU Yun-zi found in Japan seven kinds of drama literature as following: A Branch of Lyrics, Ensemble of Grandeur by Eight Saints, New Song-playing in Jade Valley, A Collection of Magical Songs, Songs of South China in Yuefu, Profound Music, and Daming Spring. This discovery is of great significance in history of Chinese drama. However, their sorting-out and study have just begun. Besides the WANG Qiu-gui’s photo-graving sorting-out work, no other special relevant correction works have been published, to say nothing a paper or a monograph which has ever given them any profound study. It should be said that this may be the orientation to which lyric workers should make great effort.
