Abstract:The developing level of the newly built colleges and universities plays a part in deciding the overall progress of the Chinese Higher education. On the basis of the connotation of the undergraduate education quality and its basic properties, a status quo survey is made of the construction of quality guarantee system, which helps put forth the proposal of constructing a quality guarantee system for these institutes of higher education: vigorous efforts be focus on the quality of education and teaching quality; the promotion of evaluation quality should be a safeguard; and the reinforcement of opening up still further shall be a basic requirement.
