Abstract:Based on the analysis of the trigger technology of SQL SERVER and the management information system in use as an example, a detailed elaboration is made of the function and practical applications of the trigger. In students achievement management system, if the Update trigger, Insert trigger, and Delete trigger are set beforehand, the data integrity of the database can be well guaranteed when operations of “update, insert, delete data” are being done to the background database. Practice has proven that the use of a Trigger is an effective way to maintain data integrity.
