Abstract:Video observational Method, video statistics method were adopted in conducting a technical analysis of the Chinese Men's Basketball in the 17 ^thAsian Games, Incheon 2014. The results showed that the Chinese Men's basketball team excels in the 2 pointer, rebounds, assistances; while they are weak in free throw shot, steals; in the games, the Chinese players were found to be rather inexperienced, weak in their teamwork and adjustment capability. Therefore some suggestions are put forth: the strengthening of free throw practice; the reduction of fouls and turnovers; the exploration of strategies and tactics for improving the basketball rebounds which fit the Chinese players' physique and skill features; More prudence in the choice of coaches; so as to prompt the development of basketball.
