On the Integration of Input and Output inthe Teaching of Reading for English Majors

  • Input and output are the required processes in second language acquisition. Interaction of the two provides a prerequisite for L2 acquisition. However, the L2 input English majors obtained through reading teaching in universities may be ineffective and chances for output may also be inadequate. Based on the theoretical framework of Input-Output in SLA, this paper proposes a framework to realize the integration of input and output.
