Remote Sensing Analysis of Land Use/Cover Change inMa 'anshan City

Located in Ma'anshan city of Anhui Province,this study use interpretation results of the TM image of Landsat-5 in 1995 and ETM+ images of Landsat-7 in 2006 and 2011. Three land use/cover classification maps were obtained supported by taking these data.Based on image analysis of ENVI and methods of mathematical statistics in 1995-2011, It took a quantitative research in Ma'anshan on land use/cover change. The research analyzed the conversion of relationship between land use types about area changes and dynamic changes and main reasons for the changes and the results are as follows.From 1995 to 2011,woodland and construction land were always in dominant position.Great changes had taken place on land use.The increased land types were agriculture,woodland,construction land and water land,while others decreased in Ma'anshan city from 1995 to 2011. The comprehensive land-use dynamic degree was 1.75%.
