On Overlapping Frames of Prepositions“Zi” and “Cong”

  • The overlapping structure of prepositions is a special form of the combination of two prepositions. The frame of overlapped “zi / cong” is not only relevant to the latter half and its semantic level of abstraction, but also influenced by prosodic factors and semantic factors of prepositions as well. The indistinct appearance of the prepositional word in such a frame is relevant to the hierarchy of prepositional structure, and is limited by the amount of syllables of prepositional objects and constrained by the form of the overlapping frames of prepositions as well.
