A Probe into the Paths to University Libraries' Initiative Role from a Perspective of MOOC

  • MOOC(Massive Open Online Courses)originated in Western countries, and was soon extensively applied in online education in universities of these countries. At present, the various well-known Chinese universities have followed this fashion and established some alliance to co-construct the platform of information resources and share them. In the co-construction of the platform of the online information, university libraries should initiatively play their roles and make full use of their three advantages in information resources, professional personnel and platform of fundamental professional construction, hoping to provide the diversified services for MOOC.
