A Study of the Homesick Stories in Poems and Articles of LU Ji and LU Yun

After Wu Kingdom surrendered to Jin Dynasty, the nostalgia of the two brothers LU Ji and LU Yun could be regarded as the model of the literati of the kingdom. A full examination of their poems and articles can tell us that their emo- tional knot not only included human relations and ethics, but involved the contradictory psychology before or after they became officials during the period when dynasties changed. A probe into their life stories is not only a study of words and deeds of orig- inal Wu’s literati as a paradigm, but also a revelation of reasons why the two brothers’ poems and articles in memory of their motherland were representative among all literati’s works.
