On Application of Dynamic Compaction in High Xigeda Soil Slope

Xigeda soil is unique in Panxi region. As Panzhihua is a mountain city, high slope engineering can be seen everywhere. In view of the poor physical properties of Xigeda soil, this paper gives an analysis regarding the application of dynam-
ic compaction method in high Xigeda soil slope engineering and through long-term observation it is found that after the Xigeda soil was subjected to dynamic compaction treatment as strong as6000kN. m, it nicely meets the specified engineering require- ments, which can serve as a helpful reference for the future treatment of similar high Xigeda soil slopes.
