  • CHE Qi was one of few typical feudal intellectuals who combined their own cultural dreams with the commercial publishing business. With poems, he showed his high ideals. And due to poems, he once got into prison, gained profit and made some friends. It was because of his poetry ideals and enthusiasm in tireless compilation and printing the works of minor people that the poetry circle became prosperous in Southern Song Dynasty and finally the biggest Jianghu Poetry School with vast influence formed in the two Song Dynasties.
