On the Construction of Evaluation System for Strong Tourism Economy Province in Sichuan

The tourism economy evaluation system, as the theoretical basis for the construction of a strong tourism economy province, includes a system of evaluation indices and approaches. From the perspectives of scale and structure indica- tors, an analysis is made of theSichuan tourism evaluation system and the scale indicator system is classified into four types: development indicator, supportive tourism development indicator, tourism strategic development indicator and tourism devel- opment environmental indicator. Then an empirical analysis is made from the perspectives of tourism competitiveness, tourism investment and tourism structure system. And a tourism evaluation system is constructed in hope of providing some referential help for the building of a strong tourism economy in Sichuan.
