Discussion on Energy Concentration Degree Based on COMOGEN Model
Abstract
The emulsion chamber experiments on high mountain shows that the phenomenon of energy concentration exists in family events caused by interaction of the super high-energy cosmic ray(energy range:1014 eV~1017eV ) and the air. On the basis of COMOGEN model, simulation computation of the energy concentration degree (χ5andχ10 ) is done, and the simulation test results are subjected to K-S significance test. The findings show that the said model is by no means better than the other models in the efficiency of interpreting the energy concentration phenomenon.
