Study on Preparation of Crosslinked Carboxymethyl Glucomannan and Its Adsorption of Sc3+
Abstract
This study is dedicated to preparatory conditions of the cross-linked konjac glucomannan and its microspheres. Furthermore, the adsorptive property of the newly-prepared adsorptive—he konjac glucomannan microsphere— to Sc3+ is put under discussion; the influence of factors like time, pH value, temperature and concentrations of Sc3+ to the adsorptive material are also subjected to examination. The results show that: the adsorption of the said microsphere to Sc3+ strikes a balance when the time length reaches about 8h; when the pH value drops below 6.5, the adsorbance rises with the rise of temperature and pH value. When the temperature drops below 50℃, and the concentration of Sc3+ is 50 mg/L and the pH value is 6.39, the adsorbance can reach 886μg /g in the media of HAc-NaAc, indicating that it has potential value in use in the Sc3+ enriched field of separation.
