Abstract
Based on a succinct review of the research conducted on the implementation of the third-party logistics by medical enterprises in China and abroad, a case study is made of the Sichuan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. to analyze the difficulties they are faced with in the operation of the third-party medicine logistics, namely, the unitary profit-making mode, the backward marketing and managerial means, the lack of modern logistics knowledge and personnel, low delivery capacity and unsmooth supply chains. The feasibility for conducting the third-party medicine logistics is investigated and counter measures are put forth: to step up the scale; to enhance the core competitiveness; to strengthen the training of logistics professionals; to prompt the great-leap-forward development of the enterprises; to optimize equipment; to reinforce awareness.
